The Ghana Scholarship secretariat has announced that
it is going to pay the full fees of free SHS students who will be entering the
various tertiary institutions for the 2020/2021 academic year.
The Registrar of the Ghana Scholarships Secretariat,
Kingsley Agyemang, disclosed that his outfit has budgeted about GHC 50 million
to be awarded in scholarships for the 2020/2021 academic year.
The Ghana Scholarship Secretariat has announced free
tertiary scholarships for current Free Senior High School (SHS) West Africa
Senior School Certificate (WASSCE) graduates from January 2021.
Registrar, Kingsley Agyemang, said candidates are
free to apply online from now till December 15.
According to Mr Agyemang, it is a move by President
Nana Akufo-Addo to ensure that all Ghanaian students get an education.
He said GHC20 million has already been budgeted for
it.
Mind you the scholarship covers academic facility
user fees or tuition fees for all accredited local tertiary institutions, both
public and private.

STEP 1.
- Open the web address www.scholarshipgh.com
STEP 2.
- Sign-up and create a user account to register.
STEP 3.
- Complete an application form and upload all required academic and admission documents.
STEP 4.
- Complete an online aptitude test.
All applicants who wrote the WASSCE in 2020 and have
gained admission or have applied for admission into an accredited local
tertiary institution are eligible to apply.
