The National Council for Curriculum Assessment (NaCCA)
has released a statement referring to some news report circulating on social media that seeks to suggest that the duration of the Junior High School Programme will from the 2020/2021 academic year, be increased to 4 (four) years while the Senior High School Programme, according to the report would last two years.
NaCCA debunks this false story and wishes to state that with the planned implementation of the Common Core Programme in the next academic year, the duration for both J.H.S and S.H.S will remain three years each.
The general public is thus entreated to disregard this false reportage.
